- The Strand Huntington
Beach, Huntington Beach, California
– Work with CIM Group’s marketing team to provide public relations,
marketing and tourism plans for The Stand, a mixed-use retail center
located on Pacific Coast Highway in downtown Huntington Beach including
the 157-room boutique hotel, The Shorebreak. www.thestandon5th.com
- Fashion Outlets
– Las Vegas, Nevada, Niagara Falls, New York, Santa Fe, New Mexico
– Oversee the public relations campaigns for these three premiere
shopping destinations. The PR campaign “Cross Border Shopping”
for Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls received International and National
coverage totaling more than $3.8 million in publicity and was an ICSC
2008 Maxi Finalist.
- Samuels & Company,
Inc., Los Angeles, California – Develop a yearly corporate marketing
strategy to include annual advertising campaign, public relations campaign,
and leasing marketing materials. Coordinate interviews with industry
press for client Merlin Entertainments Group to position Samuels as

- JA Stowell Construction,
Inc., Newport Beach, California – Developed corporate brochure,
marketing collateral materials, and designed and manage its web site

- Wine Lab Newport,
Newport Beach, CA – Developed business plan and creative to launch
the 1,100 square foot wine and cheese bar in 2008. Provide on-going

- LA ~ LIVE, Los Angeles,
California – Developed property management structure for pre-opening
of LA ~ LIVE, a 4 million square foot $2.5 billion sports and entertainment
district adjacent to Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. Conducted
market research including focus group studies for the LA ~ LIVE logo
concept and brand in 2006.
- Buena Park Downtown,
Buena Park, California – Developed, designed, and implemented
‘Park VIP’ 2005 advertising campaign and web site marketing program.
Provided creative for all seasonal promotions in 2005 & 2006.
- Cohen Financial
Real Estate Investment Banking, Chicago, Illinois
– Developed and implemented public relations for West coast offices
in San Francisco, Sacramento, Newport Beach and Portland. Coordinate

- World Jewelry Center
– Las Vegas, Nevada – In 2008, our team conducted a marketing
and leasing charrette for the management team which resulted in the
positioning statement for the 125,000 square-foot retail component of

- Stoneridge Towne
Center – Moreno Valley, California
– Developed consumer advertising campaign and grand opening campaign
for the 560,000-square-foot regional center which opened in 2008.
- Sister to Sister
Foundation’s National Women’s Heart Day Campaign
– Los Angeles, California –
Provided public relations for the 3rd annual health fair
in 2007. Received more than $1 million in publicity value for

- Westfield Shoppingtown
Santa Anita and Topanga – Retained by public relations firm, The
Donahue Group, to be a consultant for the 250,000 square foot expansion
and grand opening at the mall on October 1, 2004. Secured over
$2.1 million in publicity for the opening. For Westfield Topanga,
we developed the Q & A with Westfield top executives and successfully
pitched the redevelopment story to the New York Times and USA Today.
- Le Creuset of America,
Inc. – Early Branch, South Carolina
– Developed training program for store managers and directors and
taught 4 hour course during Le Creuset University titled “Public Relations
and Event Planning.” Created point of purchase creative for
in-store use.
- Craig Realty Group
– Newport Beach, California – Handled all corporate public relations
and corporate advertising. Develop, design, and implement corporate
leasing materials, web site and ICSC trade show booth graphics from
1997 to 2007. Developed, designed and implemented cooperative
corporate marketing programs for all of its outlet centers, and represented
company portfolio at travel trade shows. Centers included Cabazon
Outlets, Citadel Outlets, Lake Elsinore Outlets, Outlets at Anthem,

- Go West Outlet Shopping
Marketing Plan – Developed marketing alliance called “Go West
Outlet Shopping” for developers Craig Realty Group and Talisman Companies,
LLC – Created travel planner, advertising campaign, public relations
plan for program, and web site. Received a SASI award and SCMDA

- Citadel Outlets,
Los Angeles, California – Developed public relations plan for
developer’s renovation and expansion plans. Handled consumer
advertising campaign, sign program for new phase construction, web site,
and provided sponsorship development from 2001 to 2006.
- Cabazon Outlets,
Cabazon, California – Designed all marketing collateral materials.
Developed logo and building signage package for the 65,000 square foot
outlet center. Oversaw all cooperative merchant marketing program,

- Outlets at Anthem,
Phoenix, Arizona – Developed logo and consumer advertising campaign,
web site, sign program for new phase construction, and oversee cooperative
advertising newspaper program from 2001 to 2005. www.outletsanthem.com
- Lake
Elsinore Outlets, Lake Elsinore, California – Redesign of logo
and development of the identity program in 2000 for management company
Craig Realty Group. Designed marketing collateral materials for
350,000 square foot outlet center from 2001 to 2005. www.lakeelsinoreoutlet.com
- The
Festival Companies, Los Angeles, California
– Developed and created annual advertising campaign for ICSC trade
show in 2006. Implemented multi-media presentation and trade show booth
design consulting.
- Beverly Center,
Los Angeles, California – We had a 15-month contract with the
Center, overseeing their entire marketing program while they conducted
an executive search for a full-time marketing director. We oversaw
the new advertising campaign and development of the new logo and sign
designs, the day-to-day marketing department operations, implemented
the Travel Planner for the tourism department, and oversaw the public
relations plan for the introduction of their major renovation in 2000.
On an annual basis, we continue to coordinate their VIP holiday event.
- Ontario Mills, Ontario,
California – Successfully launched the grand opening of California’s
largest shopping destination in November 1996. As an employee
of the Mills Corporation, ChrisAnn oversaw an advertising budget of
$2.3 million and directed a staff of 27 personnel. Ontario Mills
attracted more than 12.3 million shoppers in its first year of operation
– more than visited Disneyland in 1997. In 1996, the mall received
more than $3.5 million in publicity for its Grand Opening splash.
Over 284 print articles, 65 television stories, and 20 minutes of radio
reports were placed. The grand opening was a 1997 recipient of
an ICSC Maxi Award.
- Two Rodeo Drive,
Beverly Hills, California – Developed marketing plan for developer’s
expansion plans and on-going marketing for 2004-05. Handled consumer
advertising and public relations campaign and day-to-day issues for
operating a marketing department at the 138,000 square foot luxury retail
center for management company Trammel Crow. www.2rodeo.com
- Hollywood &
Highland, Hollywood, California – Developed and implemented the Charity
Shopping event ‘A Cause to Shop” that was held on grand opening
day 2000. The event benefited 40 Los Angeles-based charities.
- California Welcome
Center at Beverly Center, Los Angeles, California – We developed
the grand opening gala event to introduce the facility to the travel
trade industry, hotel concierges, and provided public relations for
the event. Developed sponsorships with Where Magazine and Universal
Studios to help promote the event and to provide entertainment for the
gala.
- Inland Empire Tourism
Council, San Bernardino, California
– We developed a CD rom featuring all the destinations in the
Inland Empire. We worked with Digital Empire in Riverside on this
project. The CEO of Digital Empire was the past-president of the
Tourism Council. The CD was driven by sponsorship dollars so participants
that were primarily featured provided marketing dollars to underwrite
the project. The CD was distributed to media outlets and at all
travel trade shows attended by the Council.
- California Tourism,
Sacramento, California – In 1999, we developed travel trade show
graphics and banners for the State of California’s division of tourism
themed “Find Yourself Here.”
- Irvine Spectrum
Center, Irvine, California – We developed a concierge incentive
program and introduced the program through a Hospitality Event held
at the center in 1997. To help underwrite the event, we developed
a sponsorship program with Where Magazine.
- California Welcome
Center, Ontario, California – For the American Wilderness Experience
at Ontario Mills, we developed the grand opening event of the California
Welcome Center to coincide with the grand opening of the venue and restaurant.
The Welcome Center was sponsored by the Inland Empire Tourism Council
and we developed the criteria for the new home of the Inland Empire
Tourism Hall of Fame.
- City of Santa Clarita
Tourism Bureau – Developed the tourism bureau’s on-line press
